5/6T created Volcano artworks using oil pastels and paint. First we drew an environment in the foreground - somewhere that a volcano might be, then we added details by mixing shades, making sure our artworks showed interesting details.  Using the warm colours of red, orange and yellow, we then used paint brushes to flick the paint onto our artwork to create an explosive eruption.

Thank you to the SRC for helping with the organisation of our Pyjama Day and selling of raffle tickets.

Gold coin donations on the day were $206.00, and the raffle made $234.25, totalling $440.25 for 'Stewart House'.

Stewart House is a charitable foundation and respite centre for NSW public school students.

At Eden Public School we have a wonderful vegetable garden where all the students can have fun digging, planting and harvesting a wide variety of fruit and vegetables.

Garden Club happens every Wednesday. Small groups of students work in the garden throughout the day. Everyone has a chance to head to the garden at lunch time and join in the fun.

There is always something to do – watering, digging for worms, feeding the chooks, catching ladybugs, planting and best of all; having a nibble on the incredibly popular ‘sour leaf’ (actually french sorrel).
